Pet Portrait -Phoenix

It has been a very long time since I have updated my blog -I let life get in the way of my creative self. I was trying to find a way to incorporate my creative urges and the need to make a little cash along the way too because why not right? I have let a few friends and family know that I am open for business and that if they want a portrait of their pet - I would be willing to paint one.

Here is what I have been working on since the beginning of the new year. This is a painting of my dog, Phoenix. She is Border Collie/Labrador mix.

Trying to Get Back into the Swing of Things

It's been several months since I have stepped into my studio. My puppy required a lot of my attention at the beginning but I finally have gotten into a routine with her and now I want to go back to my creative work. I went onto the Jealous Curator blog and she had a post about collage. Now this could be something I would like to pursue just to get the creative juices flowing. Here is a link to the post and podcast about collage.
