| Crucifixion by Michelangelo |
The Morgan Library and Museum is going to make it's entire collection of drawings available online. This is an excellent piece of news! It would be great to be able to access drawings by such wonderful artists like Durer and Michelangelo. Link to article here.

Clementine Hunter, Canasta Players, mid 1960s, Oil on Rigid Pasteboard
I came across this article about Clementine Hunter in the New York Times Travel section. Clementine Hunter was an outsider artist who grew up on a slave plantation. In her lifetime, she painted over 10,000 pieces of artwork and painted on everything she could get her hands on, for example, discarded wood remnants. She lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Here is the link to the article.

Daily Routines
I came across this inspiring and motivating article from brain pickings.org about how to recreate daily routines. It's not about waiting for something to happen, you need to make it happen every day. I liked one of the quotes " A small daily task, be it really daily, will beat the labors of a spasmodic Hercules." Here is the book from which the quote came from. Here is the article.

New Painting
I just recently finished a painting of an Australian lolly called Jaffas. They are orange flavoured chocolate on the inside and orange coloured on the outside.

Australian Snack: Chokito
A Chokito is a chocolate covered chocolate bar containing caramel fudge with crisped rice. They have since changed the look and logo since I last ate one. I remember the tagline for the advertisements were "Chokito gets you going."
